Abnous Podia Invest&Architect Inc. participated in Ibaraki Tech Planter 2026, held on July 25, 2026 at the University of Tsukuba Future Society Design Building, and gave a lightning talk and joined a poster session.
In the lightning talk, Representative Director Ryuto Kawamata introduced Abnous Podia's business overview and its cross-domain approach to material development across architecture, biology, chemistry, and living environments. The presentation outlined how APIA uses natural-origin materials and formulation technology to design materials and implementation methods suited to specific challenges in architecture, infrastructure, and living environments.
Lightning talk and poster session
The program included lightning talks and a poster session by participating teams. APIA exchanged views with participants and support organizations on the development theme, implementation pathways, and possible collaboration.
APIA is an R&D company that treats building materials not only as standalone products, but as integrated systems spanning material design, application design, construction and distribution, and commercialization. The presentation introduced several material development themes pursued by Abnous Podia and its cross-domain implementation strategy.
Next steps
APIA will continue combining natural-origin materials, formulation technology, and implementation knowledge for architecture and living environments to advance material design and commercialization suited to each application.
